Great potential and good location, but let down by organization and details While this hotel has real potential, we had several issues in the stay. On the positive side, the location in Cairo is very convenient, and the rooftop area is really nice, offering a great space to relax. Considering the price, the rooms themselves are decent. The receptionist was also very sweet and accommodating; since we had a late-night bus, she allowed us to hang out in the reception area for the day and even offered us access to a room to use the bathroom before we left. We had some little drama at check-in. I was asked to pay cash, but since I didn’t have any, they accepted my card—though my bank was charged a couple of euros extra. Just two minutes later, the manager called the receptionist, who spoke very limited English, to claim the transaction was declined and demand cash. Half an hour later, they knocked on my door with the manager on the phone to check if I got reimbursed so I could pay cash instead. Ultimately, the card payment went through fine, and no one mentioned it again. Access and maintenance leave a lot to be desired. The hotel is on the 8th floor, but the elevators—which are in scar

We stayed in the hotel when we were in Cairo. Rooms are dirty damaged ceiling is falling apart. Electric points are open next to bed which is very dangerous. There is no towel no blankets provided. Room 935 which we stayed was next to caffe lot of outsiders next to your room until late night. Lift goes until 7th floor then reception is on 8th floor and our room was on 10th floor. We had to carry our luggage through the stairs. You can see the picture of rooms and just outside the room. Hotel is shabby not suitable for family. I will not recommend to others.

I reserved a double room for me and my friend, we reserved it two weeks ago then when we arrived they said we are not allowed to stay there together as I am Egyptian and he is German which makes no sense we asked for cancelation they said I should issue a request and they will review it immediately and when we did the guy completely ignored us and was watching Instagram reels and not even looking at us. The building as well was very old and completely doesn't look like in the photos

I stayed at Town View Hotel for two nights, and overall, it was a calm and quick visit. Although it’s not a highly rated hotel, it offers good value for money in several ways. The location is convenient — situated in the downtown area — and fairly easy to reach. However, there were no signs on the main street, which made it hard to find. It took me around 15 minutes to locate it, which was a bit frustrating. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned, and came with private bathrooms. The cleanliness exceeded my expectations, although the air conditioner was quite noisy during the night. One of the positive aspects of my stay was the affordability. Prices were reasonable, but I was surprised to learn they only accept cash. I had to go to a nearby ATM (on the next street) to withdraw money. Fortunately, Mahmoud, the receptionist, was very understanding and helpful — he checked me in and allowed me to pay later the same evening. The hotel offers a laundry service and a rooftop breakfast which was a pleasant surprise. The view from the roof is beautiful, and the breakfast menu seems to change daily. I especially enjoyed the Fallahi breakfast, which was rich, flavorful, and felt homemade
