Eating out in Egypt runs late: dinner often starts after 20:00, and many restaurants and cafés stay open until midnight and beyond, especially on Thursday nights and in summer. Delivery is everywhere, either by calling the restaurant or through apps such as Talabat and elmenus, sometimes with different prices and offers on each. Many restaurants add a 12 % service charge and 14 % VAT to the bill, so ask for the final price; tipping is customary but optional. During Ramadan the timings shift, with the main rush at iftar and service running on towards suhoor.

The business lists hours for all seven days of the week. The most common schedule is 08:00–02:00. Expect different timings in Ramadan and on public holidays, and a short closure at Friday prayer time in smaller shops. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 849 reviews, a strong result for a restaurant in Sidi Gaber that points to clearly satisfied customers.

Breakfast is tastless. Worest food I had in all egypt. Even a breakfast in a 2 star hotel would be same taste if not even better. I would give 0 to service, they recieve you, Having seat , getting your order then you find no one in the whole place. You need o search for anyone to talk to. So you go downstairs to comunicate. Music is high and no one there to just request to get less loud. Once a person showed up she was too busy with her telefon scollings and you have to go by yourself to give your words or to order(useless to scream to get heared as music is loud). Overall paying too much for tastless food and unprofissional services.

The atmosphere was great, but the drinks and coffee were very disappointing. That made the whole experience much worse than I expected, despite the great views and friendly staff.

I had a wonderful experience at Wood Restaurant & Café. The Oriental breakfast was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was friendly, and everything was well organized. A perfect place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast. Highly recommended!

We tried suhoor, a little over priced for the quantity, and the egg was so over cooked we couldn’t eat it using bread, everything else was good and the staff was really friendly.
