About Asmak Resaurant
Asmak Resaurant is a seafood restaurant in Agouza, Giza. It is listed at 7 وادي النيل، جزيرة ميت عقبة، حي العجوزة، محافظة الجيزة 3752701, and this page gathers what people usually check before a visit: where it is, how to get there, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Eating out in Egypt runs late: dinner often starts after 20:00, and many restaurants and cafés stay open until midnight and beyond, especially on Thursday nights and in summer. Delivery is everywhere, either by calling the restaurant or through apps such as Talabat and elmenus, sometimes with different prices and offers on each. Many restaurants add a 12 % service charge and 14 % VAT to the bill, so ask for the final price; tipping is customary but optional. During Ramadan the timings shift, with the main rush at iftar and service running on towards suhoor. At traditional fish restaurants you pick your fish from the display, pay by weight and choose how it is cooked, grilled, fried or as sayadeya with rice, so ask for the price per kilo and what salads and sides are included before ordering.
Opening hours are published for all seven days of the week. Typical hours are 11:00–01:00. Timings usually change during Ramadan, at Eid and on other public holidays, and some shops open later on Friday around midday prayers, so call before a long trip. You can reach Asmak Resaurant on 010 2992 9925; calling is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses in Egypt also answer on WhatsApp.
With 4.0 out of 5 on Google from 2,247 reviews, opinions look fair to good; the detailed comments usually say more than the score about service, prices and waiting times.
This business is in Agouza, Giza Governorate, part of Greater Cairo, Egypt's capital and the largest urban area in the Arab world, spreading along both banks of the Nile from Downtown, Zamalek, Garden City, Heliopolis and Maadi to new cities such as New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October and the New Administrative Capital, with the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum on its edge. The Cairo Metro's three lines link many districts, but traffic is part of daily life, so allow extra time at rush hour. Summers are hot and dry, winters mild with little rain, and streets and shops stay busy late into the night.

Asmak Seafood Restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the waiters were honestly amazing super friendly and attentive throughout the whole experience. The food was a mix of great and average dishes. The shrimp was definitely the star of the meal (10/10), very fresh and perfectly cooked. The crab was also really good (8/10), as well as the baba ghanouj and tahini sauce (both 8/10). The fish was acceptable but nothing special (6/10), while the seafood soup was disappointing (3/10). The biggest issue is the pricing. The total was around 2600 EGP for one person, which feels extremely overpriced for a seafood restaurant in Cairo considering the overall quality. Good experience overall because of the atmosphere and service, but the value for money is not there.

Asmak Restaurant is one of my go-to places for seafood in Cairo. The food is consistently amazing, everything is cooked to perfection, fresh, flavorful, and done properly every time. The service is also very good. Hosts are always available, attentive and genuinely on the lookout for guests. They guide you properly from arrival until you’re fully settled, which makes the whole experience smooth and comfortable. It’s one of those places where both the food and the service stay consistent, which is exactly why I keep going back. A reliable and genuinely enjoyable seafood spot in Cairo.

Fantastic experience in Cairo. Very good seafood restaurant. A fish market at the entrance you pick the seafood and the way of cooking. The complimentary lemon mint juice is refreshing. The butter fried king prawns are very tasty. Grill Sea bass is very authentically flavored and tender. The restaurant is right at the Nile. The environment is very nice! Good value for the money!

Very good and fast service, delicious seafood represented in tasty lobster grilled with butter served with top notch grilled method. Best in town butterfly shrimp 🦐 smill and tast amazing. I consider five stars seafood as well as service. If you attend during Iftar Ramadan you have to reserve first even by phone. Staff are very friendly and the location is clean and well organized. I recommend it for family and friends and couples. Prices are relatively high compared with other similar restaurants nearby but it worth to try.
