Eating out in Egypt runs late: dinner often starts after 20:00, and many restaurants and cafés stay open until midnight and beyond, especially on Thursday nights and in summer. Delivery is everywhere, either by calling the restaurant or through apps such as Talabat and elmenus, sometimes with different prices and offers on each. Many restaurants add a 12 % service charge and 14 % VAT to the bill, so ask for the final price; tipping is customary but optional. During Ramadan the timings shift, with the main rush at iftar and service running on towards suhoor. Egypt's café culture runs from the traditional ahwa and Turkish coffee to modern cafés and specialty coffee in the new cities and malls; many offer Wi-Fi and space to work or study, and some set a minimum spend at busy times.
Opening hours are published for all seven days of the week. Typical hours are 08:00–23:30. Timings usually change during Ramadan, at Eid and on other public holidays, and some shops open later on Friday around midday prayers, so call before a long trip. The listed phone number is 010 6343 3339. From abroad dial +20 and then the number without its leading zero (five-digit hotlines work only from within Egypt); calling ahead is the norm for bookings and to confirm timings.
With 3.7 out of 5 on Google from 837 reviews, opinions look fair to good; the detailed comments usually say more than the score about service, prices and waiting times.
This business is in Dar Al Salam, Cairo Governorate, part of Greater Cairo, Egypt's capital and the largest urban area in the Arab world, spreading along both banks of the Nile from Downtown, Zamalek, Garden City, Heliopolis and Maadi to new cities such as New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October and the New Administrative Capital, with the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum on its edge. The Cairo Metro's three lines link many districts, but traffic is part of daily life, so allow extra time at rush hour. Summers are hot and dry, winters mild with little rain, and streets and shops stay busy late into the night.

Don’t even deserve ZERO trashy service, trashy waiters they force clients to pay for things they did not order and when you refuse they raise their voices and threaten the customer that they won’t let them go! the silly supervisor said he will “يدعي عليا"😂 I will file a complaint to ministry of tourism as they pretend to be a touristic place and they tried to mock us to pay MINIMUM CHARGES but when I asked them to show me their Certificate they ran like rats they are. Lets boycott such places that reply on mocking customers abd inappropriate behavior from their waiters.

The service was average, and the shisha was just okay. One major issue is that the prices are unclear—there’s no menu for shisha types or prices, which makes it hard to know what you're paying for. Another downside is the air conditioning: it’s only available in one area, while the rest of the place relies on fans or desert coolers, which are not effective in the heat and also affect the quality of the shisha coal. Overall, not the best experience.

Visited Bokharest El Maadi recently. The food was okay, but definitely has room for improvement. I ordered the hazelnut coffee and was disappointed—it lacked strength and the nutty flavor was barely there. The service wasn’t great and could use serious attention. Unfortunately, the atmosphere didn’t help either; the air conditioning wasn’t working properly, and it was far too hot to stay comfortable. Not the best experience overall.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant during their Ramadan buffet. First of all, the service was extremely slow—I had to wait more than 30 minutes just for someone to take my order! This is unacceptable, especially during Ramadan when customers are fasting and expect efficient service. On top of that, the food quality was way below expectations. The buffet was poorly managed, many dishes were either cold or not replenished in time, and the overall taste was just disappointing. For the price they charge, I expected a much better experience. I would not recommend this place for Iftar, and I certainly won’t be coming back. Very disappointing!

A lovely place with an astonishing view of the Nile river 😍 the food is very good, and drinks too! I visited twice and planning on visiting again. Only one problem, staff. bringing menu is delayed, order is delayed, and they seem so un happy. Also the waiter was not fully aware of the restaurant's dishes. I asked for greek salad, which they served, he said they don't serve it, but when i showed him the menu he was like oh ok, same thing with steak and salmon. But it wasn't a big deal still enjoyed my time 😍♥️♥️
