About Degla Vet Plus
Degla Vet Plus is a veterinary clinic in Maadi, Cairo. It is listed at beside seoudi market, 23 Street 205, معادي السرايات الغربية، قسم المعادي، محافظة القاهرة 4213012, and this page gathers what people usually check before a visit: where it is, how to get there, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Vet clinics are spread across Egypt's towns, some with 24-hour emergency care, offering vaccinations, check-ups, surgery, boarding and grooming, alongside vets who look after livestock and poultry in the countryside. Keep your pet's vaccination record, especially for rabies, which is needed for travel and by many hotels and compounds, and check the legal requirements for keeping certain breeds. In summer never leave animals in a car or walk them in the midday heat, as hot pavements burn paws.
The business lists hours for all seven days of the week. Typical hours are 11:00–22:00. Expect different timings in Ramadan and on public holidays, and a short closure at Friday prayer time in smaller shops. The listed phone number is 010 0855 9509. From abroad dial +20 and then the number without its leading zero (five-digit hotlines work only from within Egypt); calling ahead is the norm for bookings and to confirm timings. Its website is sites.google.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 92 reviews, a high score, though the most recent reviews are still the best guide to what visitors find today.
This business is in Maadi, Cairo Governorate, part of Greater Cairo, Egypt's capital and the largest urban area in the Arab world, spreading along both banks of the Nile from Downtown, Zamalek, Garden City, Heliopolis and Maadi to new cities such as New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October and the New Administrative Capital, with the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum on its edge. The Cairo Metro's three lines link many districts, but traffic is part of daily life, so allow extra time at rush hour. Summers are hot and dry, winters mild with little rain, and streets and shops stay busy late into the night.

Super amazing people! True veterinary hearts! I had a truly great overall experience and was truly impressed on all levels. Super clean place, fully equipped, friendly, fast, efficient team of doctors, nurses and handlers. My boy had a super fast procedure with amazing aftercare and results! Meeting the resident rescue animals stole my heart, the amount of love and care the clinic and its staff bestow on strays is so genuine and truthful...I pray for them all. Super recommended.

Took advantage of me and friend being foreigners. We saved three street cats. I’m sick and tired of being ripped off and this was no different. They seemed very sweet to me until I got a bill for 850 pounds which everyone at my college here has said costs more than getting their pet fixed. I paid 180 pounds each for a kitten revolution dose. He got to open a new box, fill three tiny tiny syringes and then keep the rest of the tube. I kept asking hello??? I’m paying for that?? He insisted no. Well I’ve called other vets. An entire box of revolution isn’t even 180. He also charged me for cleaning my cats eye with water. when I approached them After with my Egyptian friends they simply said “they agreed to it”. STAY AWAY. If you are a foreigner or first time pet owner please don’t be taken advantage of with your money.

If I could give a lower rating I would. I went last week with "Buddy", a 3-month griffon rescued puppy to a vet who confirmed that it’s Parvo, and asked me to take him immediately to a hospital. A friend of mine referred me to Degla Vet Plus. When I went there, 4 guys were waiting for me (not sure if they are doctors), they tried hard to convince me that it could be something else, and the doctor could be mistaken. They said that the only way to make sure is to do the test (which costs EGP 250). Unfortunately, the test was positive, and they told me that they will start the treatment and it will take around an hour. After one hour, they give me the puppy and asked me to come back after 24 hours. I asked them to write in details all the medicines. I did not feel comfortable during the visit, and could not trust what they said. The next day I took him to the International Vet Hospital, and when I told the story to the doctor and showed her the papers, she said that the treatment should be given every 12 hours (or 8 depends on the case). She also told me that the doses were not enough, and there are more medicines that Degla Vet Plus did not give and the poor puppy would not stay aliv
