It was a nice breakfast dining experience. Mr Mohammad was very attentive and friendly since I stepped my foot in until leaving the place. The restaurant’s layout is intimidating, eye-catching and well-kept. Service was fast. Now food, eish bread served hot, flavourful tahini with amazing falafel. But fuul was mid honestly. Regardless it is a good place to have a traditional Egyptian staple food.

had a good experience there despite some of the negative comments I had read. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was okay, although I think there are places in area where you can find better food. The main thing I was not happy with was the cleanliness. I did not see the kitchen, so I cannot comment on that, but the outside area was not very clean. The floors, tables, and even the restrooms could definitely be maintained better.

Came for lunch. Restaurant was close to empty save for a few tourists (partly due to it being Ramadan fasting period). Wasn’t impressed with the food. Pigeon was so skinny and had little to almost no meat. I was basically just eating flavoured rice (stuffed inside the pigeon)! Falafels were freshly cooked and hot, but flavours were nothing like as described in the menu. Some dishes like the lamb shank weren’t available for lunch. Menu was misleading. Service was slow. Waiter had a dismissive tone and felt like he couldn’t wait to brush you off. No card payments accepted. Cash only (you can pay in Egyptian Pounds or USD). The waiter was really unabashed in asking for a tip!

You can eat very delicious traditional Egyptian food, the place has different atmosphere. The food quality is very good but, prices is somehow expensive in comparison ro other places. The places is nearest to Anwar Alsadat or Mohamed Naguib metro station and it is located in downtown. You can finish amd enjoy walking between Cairo downtown buildings.
