I used to eat at Dahab Feteer before moving abroad 15 years ago, so I was genuinely excited to visit again during my trip back to Alexandria. The food is still good, but unfortunately it is not at the same level I remember from years ago. My biggest concern was hygiene. During my visit, I personally witnessed a large tray of cheese used for feteer and pizza fall onto the floor. The cheese was then collected, placed back into the same tray, and continued to be used for food preparation. As a longtime customer, this was disappointing to see. I hope management pays closer attention to food safety and hygiene standards because the place still has a good reputation and the potential to be much better. ⭐ 3/5 stars.

We go there for the nostalgia, the first place to make proper Egyptian pies in Alexandria 😍 Sausage pie with extra cheese is the closest to heart ❤
