Very disappointing after-sales experience. We purchased a new Interpump Dragon 15/200 (7.5 HP, 380V) from GEC, and the motor failed after only 3 days of operation. GEC’s service report attributed the failure to “phase loss” and quoted EGP 17,670 for the repair, including a new motor protection panel. However, no detailed technical evidence was provided to identify where the phase loss occurred or why it should be considered the customer’s responsibility. For a new heavy-duty machine to fail after only three days and have the warranty rejected without a proper root-cause analysis is extremely disappointing. We expected much better product reliability and after-sales support from GEC.
