I’ve been a member at Gold's Gym for around 4 to 5 years, mainly because it’s the closest gym to my home. This time I decided not to renew. The gym feels very outdated. There is very poor mobile network coverage inside, parking is always difficult because the street is crowded with cars going in both directions, The lockers are not even numbered. The membership policies are very restrictive. The freeze option is not flexible at all. You cannot freeze for a short period like a week, you have to freeze a full month at minimum. The guest invitation policy is honestly one of the worst parts. You can only invite someone once for a total of 3 consecutive days during your entire time as a member. Even if you renew your membership, you cannot invite the same person again. I’ve been on yearly memberships for years and was only able to invite my brother once for 3 consecutive days, which is unreasonable. If you want to transfer your membership to someone else, you have to pay 2400 EGP as administrative fees. Access to the gym is also outdated. There is no fingerprint or face ID system, so every time you enter you have to tell the receptionist your membership number. Honestly, the only

Excellent gym with top-notch equipment and professional trainers. Staff are welcoming and supportive, and the sessions I tried — Core & Tone and Yoga — were unique, engaging, and highly effective. A great place to train and feel motivated!

I asked them to freeze my membership and they didn’t. I was asked to renew the membership for another 12 months + 2 months freeze. Again, i travelled abroad and asked for a freeze. I’m surprised that the freeze wasn’t activated again. It’s a big fraud guys. They sell 14 invitations along with the membership, but actually you can’t invite the same person more than one time. Shitty rules.

Decent gym, has ok equipment, does the job I would say. However one of the worst staff trainers I have seen in my life. I was training here for three weeks because I was staying in Egypt shortly. One day I was training one of trainers came and asked if some one can alternate with me so I said ok. He took the straight bar and put ropes for the other person, when the other finished I could not find the straight bar, because for some reason he took it away. I stayed for a while looking to never find it nor find the guy to ask him. So I found another machine that was empty, set it up and put the V bar and did my set, once I finished with the set, another trainer comes and asks can someone alternate with you, and I responded why when ever I train on a machine you all of a sudden ask to alternate with some one else, so he responds arrogantly saying we were using it before you, although for a good 10 minutes before no one was training on it. I just left the machine and walked away. No one tried to ask what happened? Let us explain ? Although I voiced and looked very much unhappy with the attitude, but they just don’t care. The Coffee and snack bar doing bad business. Yesterday I asked for a double espresso and some Ice. They charged me 70 LE. Today I asked for a single shot Fredo espresso. They charged 100 LE. I can't Understand the rational. Do they charge icecubes? My opinion, it's bad business.... One major think is the data connection inside the house... Mobile phones have a very weak and even a not sign at all. If you use a mobile application that requires data connection then this place isn't for your training. Due to this phone calls if it is an emergency can't reach at you.. A usually occured practice from the personal trainers is yhat they require to have immediate access to the machines for their clients regardless if you're there before them. Another sign of bad business.... A decent space to have your workouts. Some bad odour occurs in mens changing rooms due to drainage system or not working ventilation.
