Eating out in Egypt runs late: dinner often starts after 20:00, and many restaurants and cafés stay open until midnight and beyond, especially on Thursday nights and in summer. Delivery is everywhere, either by calling the restaurant or through apps such as Talabat and elmenus, sometimes with different prices and offers on each. Many restaurants add a 12 % service charge and 14 % VAT to the bill, so ask for the final price; tipping is customary but optional. During Ramadan the timings shift, with the main rush at iftar and service running on towards suhoor. Egypt's café culture runs from the traditional ahwa and Turkish coffee to modern cafés and specialty coffee in the new cities and malls; many offer Wi-Fi and space to work or study, and some set a minimum spend at busy times.
Opening hours are published for all seven days of the week. On most of those days it is open 08:00–02:00. Timings usually change during Ramadan, at Eid and on other public holidays, and some shops open later on Friday around midday prayers, so call before a long trip. You can reach كافيه ستاج on 010 1603 0207; calling is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses in Egypt also answer on WhatsApp.

This business is in Dokki, Giza Governorate, part of Greater Cairo, Egypt's capital and the largest urban area in the Arab world, spreading along both banks of the Nile from Downtown, Zamalek, Garden City, Heliopolis and Maadi to new cities such as New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October and the New Administrative Capital, with the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum on its edge. The Cairo Metro's three lines link many districts, but traffic is part of daily life, so allow extra time at rush hour. Summers are hot and dry, winters mild with little rain, and streets and shops stay busy late into the night.

Such a lovely girls-only place with an amazing Nile view! 🌸 The atmosphere is peaceful, comfortable, and perfect for spending a relaxing time with friends. A special thank you to Waleed, our waiter, for being so kind, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. He made the experience even more enjoyable. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back again! 💕

What a beautiful place, a great cafe & restaurant. You will find anything you want; they have loads of variety in their menu and a cool view on the Nile. You will enjoy your drink and meal with the Arabic pop music. Great stuff They are really helpful, responsive, and their responsibility is making you comfortable.

this place is really nice. the vibe is great, the food is pretty good, and the prices are reasonable. the only downside was one waiter named muhammad. i tried speaking egyptian arabic politely, but he didn't seem to respect a foreigner speaking arabic. when i switched to english, he literally told me to go. even though i came in smiling and was being polite, i didn't understand why he treated me that way. so i ordered with another waiter in a red uniform instead. he was much friendlier and spoke good english. while i was eating, muhammad came over a few times asking, "is it good?" honestly, it was a bit distracting. i think it's better to ask after customers finish their meal instead of interrupting them while they're eating. before i left, i also mentioned it to one of the female staff members. hopefully it doesn't happen to other customers. sorry about the rating but i'm still a bit upset about that waiter.

On a Friday morning, I decided to try the breakfast by the Nile, as many reviews mentioned that the place becomes very crowded in the evening. When I arrived, it was quiet and pleasant, but by the time I was leaving, it had become quite busy and there was hardly any space available. The location is amazing, right by the River Nile, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The food quality is good, and the drinks are decent as well. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and I will definitely come back again.

Fair restaurant... the food was meh... not very tasty. We ordered mix grill and Steak, both were a bit chewy. The restaurant location is great, pretty cool vibe, but a good vibe needs better food. We noticed that the staff are friendly but much of tension and negative energy between them, which is not cool at all for the customer (you will see it on their faces). P.S: Greek salad was good.
