About كشري القدوة
كشري القدوة is a koshary and foul shop in Dokki, Giza. It is listed at الكويت, الدقي قسم، قسم الدقي، محافظة الجيزة 3753202, and this page gathers what people usually check before a visit: where it is, how to get there, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Eating out in Egypt runs late: dinner often starts after 20:00, and many restaurants and cafés stay open until midnight and beyond, especially on Thursday nights and in summer. Delivery is everywhere, either by calling the restaurant or through apps such as Talabat and elmenus, sometimes with different prices and offers on each. Many restaurants add a 12 % service charge and 14 % VAT to the bill, so ask for the final price; tipping is customary but optional. During Ramadan the timings shift, with the main rush at iftar and service running on towards suhoor. Koshary, foul and taameya are Egypt's best-known street food: koshary mixes rice, lentils, pasta and chickpeas with tomato sauce, garlic vinegar and crispy onions, and Egyptian taameya is made from fava beans rather than chickpeas. Foul and taameya shops usually open early for breakfast, and prices suit every budget.
The business lists hours for all seven days of the week. On most of those days it is open 24 hours. Expect different timings in Ramadan and on public holidays, and a short closure at Friday prayer time in smaller shops. You can reach كشري القدوة on 010 1700 0809; calling is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses in Egypt also answer on WhatsApp.
With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 1,203 reviews, opinions look fair to good; the detailed comments usually say more than the score about service, prices and waiting times.
This business is in Dokki, Giza Governorate, part of Greater Cairo, Egypt's capital and the largest urban area in the Arab world, spreading along both banks of the Nile from Downtown, Zamalek, Garden City, Heliopolis and Maadi to new cities such as New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October and the New Administrative Capital, with the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum on its edge. The Cairo Metro's three lines link many districts, but traffic is part of daily life, so allow extra time at rush hour. Summers are hot and dry, winters mild with little rain, and streets and shops stay busy late into the night.

It's fantastic! Just five minutes from the Seraton hotel on foot. We went for dinner and everything was delicious: chicken casserole, liver koshari, beef and chicken too. The service was super friendly, they always tried to understand us (we don't speak Egyptian) and were very courteous. And the price is affordable for any pocket, for about two euros for dinner. I recommend it 100%
