I underwent a teeth whitening treatment at this clinic with Dr. Refaat, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. A high-percentage hydrogen peroxide agent was used, which caused chemical burns to my gums and considerable afterpain. While some sensitivity can be expected, this went beyond what I would consider normal post-procedural discomfort. More concerning was the lack of proper informed consent. The concentration used, potential risks, and expected side effects were not clearly discussed beforehand. Additionally, procedural steps were performed without adequate explanation, and photographs were taken without my prior knowledge or explicit consent. As a fellow healthcare professional, I firmly believe patients deserve full transparency about what is being done and why, especially when using high-concentration agents. Patient safety, communication, and respect for consent should always take priority over aesthetic outcomes or promotional material.

They told me after coming to the clinic that my appointment was cancelled and one of the staff in Nasr city was unprofessional by telling the nurse who was guiding me to the xray “let him go alone you don’t need to guide him in”.
