Worst experience at Qahwa Café Arkan. We organized a birthday surprise, called a day before to confirm the reservation, and I even brought the cake around 3 hours earlier to make everything easier. What shocked me was that when I asked them to bring the cake, they brought it exactly as I had given it to them, still inside the cardboard box and shopping bag, with no service, no preparation, and no presentation at all. This immediately put me in a very embarrassing situation in front of my friends and completely distracted from the surprise. I had to ask them to take it back and serve it properly. I was trying to handle the situation quietly without anyone noticing, waving to the staff and asking for help, but they just kept looking at me and seemed completely unaware of what was happening. Then, before we even had the chance to start the birthday surprise or sing for the birthday person, they came back with the cake already cut into pieces and served on plates. They started distributing it to the table before the celebration had even started, completely ruining the whole birthday moment. Such a disappointment. The quality of the food was below average. They made a mistake in one of my friend’s order, and when we told them to make the modification (it was only an omlette), they didn’t respond right away and her order came after we finished our food and after we asked them more than 5 times about it. When our friend refused to take her plate, the head of waiters/ the manager (not sure who he was) was very rude and told the other waiters to give is the check to leave. They were also so attentive to other tables since they were relatively order people and repeatedly ignored us for an unknown reason when we first arrived.

My all-time favorite spot for breakfast 🤩🤩 Excellent service, delicious food, and a nice atmosphere.

Qahwa has always been my go to breakfast spot because of their incredible food and exceptional quality. Recently, however, their quality has been slowly deteriorating and their salads are always wilted. The service is also quite mediocre as opposed to their exceptional service in the past. I'm writing this review in hopes that Qahwa will notice these issues and promptly address them.
