Worst hotel in Alexandria by far. If i could give it no stars at all i won't hesitate. This hotel doesn't know hygiene. Room was very small with zero cleanliness. Furniture was very old and broken. Bathroom was dirty and the smell was unacceptable and disgusting. The whole hotel was awful. Do not go there by all means. We couldn't even stay there a minute and went looking for another hotel.

It’s an old hotel . The price is okay given its location right by the sea and in heart of Mahtet el raml . It needs major renovations . The view is nice . It needs renovations . It’s a good option for a modest budget .

⭐ Worst Hotel Experience in Alexandria – Disgraceful Reception Staff This is by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had in Alexandria, and honestly, one of the worst anywhere. On 24 January 2026 at around 11:45 PM, I contacted the reception because the AC remote control was not working for more than THREE HOURS. Instead of handling the issue professionally, the receptionist on duty, Mohamed, responded in an extremely rude, arrogant, and negative manner. What made the situation absolutely unbelievable is that he actually started lecturing me, saying “we are in winter, why do you need AC?” — as if it’s his job to decide guests’ comfort or how they should use the room they paid for. This sarcastic and childish response is totally unacceptable in any hotel, let alone a place that claims to offer hospitality. To make things worse, his way of speaking was loud, disrespectful, and similar to a fish market argument, not a hotel front desk. Zero manners, zero professionalism, zero customer service skills.
