The food plaza

The food plaza is a restaurant in New Cairo, Cairo. It is listed at 3C7X+FM2، ام كلثوم، قسم أول القاهرة الجديدة، محافظة القاهرة 4734130, and this page gathers what people usually check before a visit: where it is, how to get there, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Judge a place like this on a clear menu with prices, visible hygiene and recent, consistent reviews rather than décor. Food outlets are licensed by the district or the new-city authority and inspected by the National Food Safety Authority, and most menus are in Arabic, many in English too. Thursday nights and holidays are the busiest, and popular places fill up on Ramadan nights and at Eid, so book ahead. Cash is still common in popular eateries, while larger restaurants take cards, mobile wallets and InstaPay.

The business lists hours for all seven days of the week. Typical hours are 10:00–00:00. Expect different timings in Ramadan and on public holidays, and a short closure at Friday prayer time in smaller shops. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 65 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect before you commit to a visit.

This business is in New Cairo, Cairo Governorate, part of Greater Cairo, Egypt's capital and the largest urban area in the Arab world, spreading along both banks of the Nile from Downtown, Zamalek, Garden City, Heliopolis and Maadi to new cities such as New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October and the New Administrative Capital, with the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum on its edge. The Cairo Metro's three lines link many districts, but traffic is part of daily life, so allow extra time at rush hour. Summers are hot and dry, winters mild with little rain, and streets and shops stay busy late into the night. Egyptian addresses rely on the street name, building number and district, and people often add the nearest landmark, such as a mosque, school or Metro station, so sharing the map pin from this page with a driver or courier is the easiest way to arrive at the right door.
