⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 Overall, I had a good experience at Uptown Hotel, especially because of the people working there. The location in Tahrir Square is very convenient, but what I appreciated most was the staff. The staff are genuinely kind, respectful, friendly, and always willing to help. The housekeeping team in particular is excellent. I would especially like to thank Karolos, Shady, and Basmala for their great attitude, professionalism, and hospitality. They made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay, and they deserve recognition for the excellent service they provide. Unfortunately, my only major disappointment was the laundry service. I sent around 12 pieces of clothing, including some underwear, and was charged approximately EGP 1,500. In my opinion, this is very expensive for laundry service in Egypt. More importantly, the quality did not match the price. The first time my clothes were returned, they were still wet and not properly finished, so I had to send them back. When they were returned for the second time, the folding and overall presentation were still not up to a reasonable standard. Everything should be appreciated according to its cost. This is especially the case here. The place is good for the price if you're just looking to spend the night. For longer stays, I would recommend paying a few more bucks to find a better place. The people are super helpful. I really appreciate their kindness, they provided me with everything I asked for. However, the rooms are not great and lack a few necessary things like the hairdryer. But the important issue for me was the slowness of the breakfast. I stayed here for 7 nights (I was taking a language course), and almost everyday the breakfast started around 8.30 am (which is normally 8 according to what they say). Obviously this caused problems for me as I was late everyday. The more annoying part is that they didn't really seem to care. Also, you have to specifically ask for tea as they don't bring it (I think on purpose).

Up Town Hotel was a great option for our stay in Cairo. Well located on Tahrir square, and the team did a fabulous job of helping us with EVERYTHING during our stay! Saeed also provided us with a fabulous tour, we only had one day to visit Cairo and he created a custom itinerary that hit all of our preferred stops. Thank you so much to the team for a wonderful day in Cairo!

We found this hotel in booking , it's really nice hotel in downtown close to all locations to walk and enjoy many nice places. Rooms are clean and stuff is so amazing and kind. Def. my place in Cairo from staying in the future. I feelt so welcomed.
