had higher expectations from the reviews to be honest. the service is good & the food came out fast, but I've had way better alfredo pastas in other places. this one was bland. the pizza was fine but the crust was a little too soggy. there is definitely room for improvement.

One star is more than this experience deserves. "People may forget the food, but they never forget feeling unwelcome or disrespected" My issue was not primarily with the food, but with the way customers were treated. From the moment we placed our order, there was a constant sense that we were being rushed for no reason. When we stopped eating because we simply could not finish our meal, the staff immediately suggested packing it as takeaway, as if the goal was to have us leave as quickly as possible. Heliopolis is full of excellent restaurants, and what brings me back to a place is not just the quality of the food but also the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. I can overlook average food, or even food that falls below expectations, but I cannot overlook feeling that profit is valued more than customer comfort and that my presence has become an inconvenience. 3 mins later, when we finally decided to pack the remaining food, we stayed for a short conversation. We were then asked to move to another table because they needed ours for other customers. We agreed out of courtesy. had an incredible experience at Chio Italian Restaurant. Honestly, it felt like traveling to Italy. The quality of the food and ingredients is just outstanding. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and genuinely premium. One of the best parts is the experience itself - you can actually make your own pasta inside the restaurant, and the chef guides you before they cook and serve it. Such a unique and fun touch! The menu has a great variety of pizzas and pasta, and you really can’t go wrong - especially with the truffle pasta, which was absolutely amazing. However, you definitely shouldn’t leave without trying their Nutella dessert 🫨 perfectly made and the ideal way to end the meal. Overall, an authentic Italian experience with high-quality food and a memorable atmosphere. This has become my favorite go-to Italian place, and I’m a loyal customer because they truly deserve it.

Delicious pizza! The staff are friendly and quick despite how busy it is, and the pizza tastes great. Only downside is that the place is small and not many tables are available, so you might have to take it to go, or wait. Great pizza, and reasonable prices. I recommend the funghi romano.

First of all, the staff is very helpful, nice and decent.. the services is outstanding and really fast we got our order in less than 10 mins.. we ordered pepperoni pizza , pesto pasta and bolognese pasta.. the pizza was nice.. the pasta was high quality but it’s not the best. The portions were decent and the prices are bit acceptable.
