I had a disappointing experience at Jewel Green Mountain Cairo Hotel. The reception staff showed poor customer service and lacked professionalism. I simply asked to borrow a pen, but two reception staff laughed after I made my request. I don’t know why they laughed—perhaps it was because of my voice—but it made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable as a guest. Asking for a pen is a simple and reasonable request, so I didn’t expect that kind of reaction. Guests should be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of the situation. I hope the hotel improves its reception service and provides better customer service training so that future guests have a more welcoming experience. The location is near to the main road. Therefore it's very noisy all the time. First night I'm here, I can't sleep due to the endless honk outside. The room is big and spacious. Fully equipped with TV, mini fridge, prayer mat and coffee. However they need to improve on cleanliness. Sometimes after cleaning service..the towel is not replaced with the right quantity. The lift is quite scarry and small. Only can fit 2-3 people. I'm not sure weather this type of lift is normal in Egypt. The Wi-Fi is good. Staff at receptionist and cafe are very helpful. You should try their coffee and pizza at their cafe.I love their pizza so much. Breakfast buffet spread are based on Egyptian culture and taste. So most of the time the menu are the same

If your an expat visiting Cairo there are better hotels than this, it is situated on a main highway at the front and a workshop at the rear so don’t expect any sleep with the thin glass windows. Only Arabic language TV, internet virtually non existent despite the reception telling you its working Room service some days some days not same with towels. Laundry came back same as it went not washed only flat ironed A gentleman called Hamdy works as head waiter at breakfast he was the only one good thing in this hotel he deserves 5 stars
