About La Casetta

Looking for a restaurant in Nasr City, Cairo? La Casetta is one of the options in this directory, registered at ١٣ شارع إسماعيل القباني، الحي السابع، مدينة نصر، محافظة القاهرة 4450130; below are its hours, contact details and reviews.

Eating out in Egypt runs late: dinner often starts after 20:00, and many restaurants and cafés stay open until midnight and beyond, especially on Thursday nights and in summer. Delivery is everywhere, either by calling the restaurant or through apps such as Talabat and elmenus, sometimes with different prices and offers on each. Many restaurants add a 12 % service charge and 14 % VAT to the bill, so ask for the final price; tipping is customary but optional. During Ramadan the timings shift, with the main rush at iftar and service running on towards suhoor.

Opening hours are published for all seven days of the week. The most common schedule is 12:00–00:00. Timings usually change during Ramadan, at Eid and on other public holidays, and some shops open later on Friday around midday prayers, so call before a long trip. The listed phone number is 010 0401 9994. From abroad dial +20 and then the number without its leading zero (five-digit hotlines work only from within Egypt); calling ahead is the norm for bookings and to confirm timings. Its website is elmenus.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

With 4.1 out of 5 on Google from 1,299 reviews, opinions look fair to good; the detailed comments usually say more than the score about service, prices and waiting times.

This business is in Nasr City, Cairo Governorate, part of Greater Cairo, Egypt's capital and the largest urban area in the Arab world, spreading along both banks of the Nile from Downtown, Zamalek, Garden City, Heliopolis and Maadi to new cities such as New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October and the New Administrative Capital, with the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum on its edge. The Cairo Metro's three lines link many districts, but traffic is part of daily life, so allow extra time at rush hour. Summers are hot and dry, winters mild with little rain, and streets and shops stay busy late into the night.

I came here for iftar with my friends. The setting was not especially promising at first, but once the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It was also quiet, which made the experience even nicer.

La Casetta has miraculously managed to provide consistent high quality affordable Italian dining experience. The great taste hasn't changed since 1990. Among their must try signature dishes are: the onion soup, Valentino salad ; all pizzas; Chicken Rockford cream; Bon femme seafood tajeen ; fillet pepper sauce; lasagna and lots of other dishes. I am still amazed at how they maintain excellent service and cozy authentic Italian ambience Highly recommended

I couldn't wrap my mind around the wave of emotions entering this place would bring to me !! Once I stepped in, I felt I am back on time to my teenage ,I can see nyself eating with my mom and siaters when she treated us with La casetta's garlic bread, cream soup till our Pizza Magunm made it's way to our table ...the smell hasn't departed my nostrils, till I got it back as intense and the taste as scrumptious as it was 20 years ago. We waited impatiently till we get the check with our mony back notes, and loads of mints....today I couldn't help my tears when this lovely gentleman kept walking me through my memories and exchanging a fabulous talk about the energy this place keeps sending to generations of customers..., the food is still as great, the music as nostalgic and well picked and warmth as embracing as ever!! His name is Mr.Taha who promised to send my love and regards to the owner and the maker of this wonderful long-lasting experience called La Casette. THANK YOU 😊 Nesreen Elnaggar

The vintage restaurant is located in an amazing neighborhood, well decorated and nicely furnished, however the seats are not comfy at all, the staff is friendly and attentive and the ambience is cool. We started with crème & onion soups and it deserves 10 out of 10 especially with their garlic bread. We tried the parmesan chicken and lemon chicken with penne pasta, the chicken was superb while I didn’t like the pasta because it was rarely cooked.

Great experience from the start of welcoming staff until the arrival of food. The pizza had so much cheese with great quality, the cordon bleu was really good and made by them from scratch compared to other restaurants that bring it frozen from almost one manufacturer.
