Places to stay in Alexandria Governorate range from hotels and hotel apartments to resorts, chalets and camps. This business is in Sidi Gaber, Alexandria Governorate, on Egypt's Mediterranean coast, home to Alexandria with its long Corniche, fish restaurants, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Qaitbay Citadel; westwards the North Coast stretches past summer resort villages and New Alamein to the beaches of Marsa Matrouh, with Siwa oasis deep in the desert. Summers are milder than in Cairo thanks to the sea breeze, the North Coast season peaks in July and August when roads and resorts fill up, and winters are rainy, with stormy 'nawat' bringing wind and high waves. Some seasonal shops close outside summer, so check opening hours before you go.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, particularly when it came to billing transparency and customer service. The hotel added charges to my invoice for in-house services and items that I had never ordered or consumed. During checkout, they presented these additional charges, seemingly expecting the customer to pay without questioning the details. However, when I challenged the charges and requested the signed receipts as proof that I had actually availed of those services, the hotel took nearly **two hours** just to verify whether they had valid signed receipts. Unfortunately, they were unable to produce any signed receipts or evidence to support these charges. As I was already getting delayed and had other commitments, I eventually paid the full amount, including the charges for services and items that I had never consumed. This was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. The food and dining experience was also disappointing. The menu offered several options, but when I requested some of those items, I was told that the chef was not available to prepare them. If certain menu items are not available, they should not be presented as available options to guests
